OBITUARY EXTRACTION:


NAME & ADDRESS: Ben C. Schwartz, age 82, of W11944 Maple Ridge Road in Gresham, passed away Sunday, Nov. 14, 2004, in Neenah.
BIRTH & PARENTS: Ben was born Feb. 27, 1922, in the Town of Herman, the son of the late Edward and Edna (Koehler) Schwartz.
EARLY YEARS & MARRIAGE: On June 4, 1949, Ben was united in marriage to Dorothy Diem at St. John's Lutheran Church in Tigerton. Together they owned and operated the 117-year-old family dairy farm in the Town of Herman.
INTERESTS - EMPLOYMENT: Ben was a member of the Elias Lutheran Church in the Town of Herman and was a trustee for the church for several years. He was also a member of the Gresham Lions. Ben enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, playing cards and dart baIl.
SURVIVORS: Ben is survived by: his wife, Dorothy; one son, Donald (Charlotte) Schwartz; two grandchildren, Charles, Stacy.
FUNERAL SERVICES AND BURIAL: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at Elias Lutheran Church in the Town of Herman with the Revs. Carol and Jim Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Elias Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham today from 4 until 8 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday after 10 a.m. until the time of services.
