Thomas E. Prescott
(December 15, 1930 - August 9, 2004)
Thomas E. Prescott, age 73, Gillett, WI, died Monday, August 9, 2004 at his home.
He was born December 15, 1930 in Wittenberg, the son of the late Esau and Minnie (Littlewolf) Prescott.
On August 24, 1974 Thomas was united in marriage to Judy Shambaugh in Milwaukee. She survives.
Thomas was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was a heavy equipment operator for 43 years working for a variety of road construction companies. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local #139, Pewaukee. He enjoyed traveling, camping, fishing and especially spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Judy, survivors include 5 children, Dale (Veronica) Prescott, Eagle, WI, Glenn (Linda) Prescott, Carson City, NV, Chris (Lisa) Bohlmann, Rob (Amy) Bohlmann, all of Neenah and Mikki Reinke, Bullhead City, AZ; 14 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Curtis (Edith) Prescott, Kewauskum and Duane (Mary) Prescott, Madison, TN; 2 sisters, Nancy Prescott , Elderon and Bonnie Smith, Wittenberg; 1 daughter-in-law, Jennifer Bohlmann, Watha, NC; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Scott Bohlmann, and 2 brothers, Myron Prescott and Byron Prescott.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, August 12, 2004 at the Native American Church, Wittenberg. Mr. Joe Daniels will officiate. Interment will be in John Stacy Memorial Cemetery, Wittenberg with military rites conducted by the Black River Falls American Legion. Friends may call from 10:00 AM Thursday until the time of services at the church. Schmidt-Schulta Funeral Home, Wittenberg is assisting the family with arrangements.
