Maas, Orline H.
Orline H. Maas, age 93 of W12499 Roosevelt Rd., Gresham, died on Saturday June 12, 2004 at his home. Born on February 4, 1911 in the Town of Seneca, he was the son of the late August and Katherine (Heins) Maas. He lived most of his life in the Gresham area and was an auto body mechanic. He was also employed as a woodsman with the Menominee Enterprises Mills, Neopit. He enjoyed restoring cars to their original beauty, hunting and fishing. Orline was a member of The Church of Latter Day Saints, Gresham Ward, had been a past president of the ward and was a member of the High Priest Quorum.
Survivors include: a brother, Melvin (Jeanette) Maas of Appleton; nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday June 15, 2004 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Gresham Ward with Bishop Jeff Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in the Roosevelt Cemetery in the Town of Seneca. Friends may call at the Swedberg Funeral Home, Gresham on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
