Henke, Alfred W.
Alfred W. Henke, 75, of Arizona, formerly of Gresham, passed away Friday, June 4, 2004. Alfred was born on July 22, 1928, in Chicago, the son of the late Alfred P. and Magdaline (Jarewicz) Henke.
Alfred is survived by, his wife, Ruth; two children, Kathleen (Rick) Reis of California, Brian (Charlotte) Henke of Green Bay; four step-children, Carolyn (Herold) Teuchert of Birnamwood, Donald (Mary) Bratz of Mosinee, Robert (Lisa) Bratz of Philadelphia, Vicki (Jeff) Mueller of Bonduel; four grandchildren; and eleven step-grandchildren.
A Graveside service will be held Monday, June 7, 2004, at 11 a.m. in Elias Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Herman, with Rev. Jim Johnson officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by the Gresham American Legion Post #390. Family and friends may call at Swedberg Funeral Home in Shawano, Sunday 4 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Gresham American Legion Post #390.
