MRS. G. HOHN, 85, DIES WEDNESDAY RITES SATURDAY

Mrs. Gustav Hohn, 85, died Wednesday morning, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Peters, in the town of Herman. She had been ill for the past year.

Emma Nordwig, the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. William Nordwig, Sr., was born April 20, 1872 in the Town of Seneca. On Dec. 15, 1891, she was united in marriage to Gustav Hohn, who survives her. She made her home on the same farm in the Town of Herman since her marriage. She was a charter member of the Elias Lutheran Church at Hermansfort, being a faithful worker in the Ladies Aid and all church affairs. She was always ready to give a helping hand.

The Hohns celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1941 and their 65th wedding anniversary in December, 1956.

Survivors include her husband, 5 children, Edwin of Bowler; Irvin of Woodruff; (Frieda) Mrs. Ed Peters of Gresham; (Dorothea) Mrs. Walter Otto, Gresham; and (Lillie) Mrs. William Maves, Amherst. A daughter died in infancy. Twenty-two grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren and a brother, William Nordwig of the town of Seneca, also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Saturday at the Elias Lutheran Church in Hermansfort and burial will be in the church cemetery.
