MRS. FRED HOHN
Mrs. Fred Hohn, 54, died Monday afternoon at 5:00 a victim of the scorching heat. She had been working in the field during the afternoon and was on her way home when she fell and was later found by her family still alive but unconscious. A doctor was summoned, but death had claimed her before the physician arrived at the scene.
Mrs. Hohn, nee Tillie Dahms, was born in Shawano county which has been her lifelong home. After her marriage to Fred Hohn, the couple located on a farm near Lyndhurst. She is survived by her husband and 2 sons, Ernest, 20, who operates a garage at Red River and Elmer, 18, at home. Three sisters, Mrs. William Hafferman, Mrs. William Eimer and Mrs. John Delisia, two of whom reside in Montana and 1 in Utah; 2 brothers, Herman and William Dahms of the town of Waukechon, and an aged mother, Mrs. Carl Dahms of this city also survive.
Funeral services will be held either on Thursday or Friday of this week, depending upon the arrival of the relatives from distant states. Rev. Carl Stubenvoll will conduct the service at the Elias Lutheran church at Lyndhurst of which the deceased was a member, and interment will be made
at the adjoining cemetery.
