MRS. FEHRMAN DIED SUNDAY (1939)
Pioneer of Seneca was 85 Years
Mrs. Caroline Fehrman, 85, mother of Otto Fehrman
of the Town of Seneca, passed away at the home of
her daughter, Martha, at Milwaukee Sunday,
April 16th. after a few days illness.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday
at 1 o’clock in the afternoon from the Karth
Funeral Chapel and at 2 o’clock at the Tilleda
Peace Church with the Rev. C. Domke officiating.
Interment will be made in the Seneca church cemetery.

Pioneer of Town of Seneca
Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Fehrman, nee
Wiskow, who on September 21 would have
celebrated her 85th birthday anniversary, were
held on Wednesday at the Karth funeral home
and the Peace church in Tilleda with the Rev.
Christ Domke officiating.
Mrs. Fehrman, one of the pioneers of the town
of Seneca was born in Pommern, Germany
on Sept. 21, 1854. In the year 1877 she was
married to August Fehrman, and soon
thereafter came to America settling in
Milwaukee where they resided for seven years.
In 1888 Mr. and Mrs. Fehrman purchased a
track of land in the town of Seneca on which
their son Otto now resides Mr. Fehr-man died in 1908.
Surviving are three daughters, Minnie Fehrman,
Chicago; Mar-tha, Mrs. Herman Eggert, Mil-waukee;
Alma, Mrs. Wm. Beyer, Oshkosh; one son, Otto
of Seneca; seventeen grandchildren, and seven
great-grandchildren.
Three daughters proceeded her in death. They
are: Lilly and Emily Fehrman and Anna,
Mrs. Richard Eggert.
Pallbearers for the funeral were W. H. Felts,
Albert Lutz-ow, Herman Wetzel, Albert Voelz,
Henry Schumacher and Luther Mass.
Interment took place in the Seneca church cemetery.
Out-of-town relatives and friends attending the
funeral were Minnie Fehrman, Chicago; Mrs. Herman
Eggert, Violet, Sarah, and Doris Eggert, Milwaukee;
Mrs. William Beyer, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Schultz,
Mrs. G. Rienhardt, of Oshkosh; Mr. and Mrs.
Ray DeTroy, Marinette; Mrs. FA. Kriefall,
Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Huge Wiskow, Red Granite;
and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Wiskow, Neenah.
