Albert Flessert Shawano Dies; Rites Thursday

Albert C. Flessert, 57, of 935 S. Cleveland, Shawano, died Monday, June 19. He was in his yard when he was stricken and taken to the hospital, but was dead on arrival.

MR. FLESSERT was born July 31, 1913 in the Town of Waukechon. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. William Flessert. He was employed by the Shawano Paper Mill for the past twenty-six years; He was an ardent fisherman and enjoyed hunting. He was a veteran of WW 2 and served overseas. His marriage to the former Mavis Hull took place March 8, 1951 at Shawano.

Survivors are his wife, Mavis, four daughters, Peggy, James Allender, Alberta; James Jarazinsik, both of Neenah; Gale, Mrs. Luther Ashauer, Clintonville and Gloria, Shawano and three sons, John, Menasha and Dale and Randy, of Shawano. Also surviving 8 grandchildren and his mother, Mrs. Anna Flessert, Shawano; seven sisters, Gertrude, Mrs. Willard Mott, Mishicot, Wis.; Mrs. Irene Thomas, West Allis; Lucille, Mrs. Sylvester Battisti, Franksville; Linda, Mrs. Fay Kraw, Crandon; Alma, Mrs. Ben Clark, Wabeno; Lillie Bluemke and Clara, Mrs. Clarence Bluemke both of Shawano; six brothers, Arthur, Two Rivers, Fred, Edwin, Reinhold and Robert, all of Shawano and John, Gresham.

FUNERAL services will be inducted Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Karth-Kopitzke Funeral Home, Shawano. The Rev. Fletcher Bennett will officiate and interment will be in Woodlawn cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Wednesday until the time of the service on Thursday. One sister and one brother preceded him in death.
