OBITUARY EXTRACTION:
NAME & ADDRESS:
James William HENNING, age 62, of N5622 N. Smalley Street, Shawano, died on Monday, Nov, 4,2002, in Appleton.
BIRTH & PARENTS:
He was born on March 7,1940, in Milwaukee, the son of Marion (Cauley) HENNING and the late Gilbert HENNING.
EARLY YEARS & MARRIAGE:
He served with the United States Army from 1963 to 1965. Jim was married on Oct. 3, 1969, in Menominee, Mich., to Patricia Maas.
INTERESTS - EMPLOYMENT:
He was the Shawano County Veterans Service Officer for over 20 years and also a realtor for Warren Nett and Associates. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Shawano, the Shawano American Legion Post #117, the VFW Post #2723 and all area Veterans Organizations, and the Lions Club. He enjoyed hunting and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
SURVIVORS:
He is survived by: his wife, Patricia; his daughter, Cari (Dan) Magolski of Menasha; two sons, Stuart HENNING, Duane (Dena) HENNING, both of Shawano; seven grandchildren, Reice, T.J. Dalton, Robert, Chase, Saige, Autumn; his mother, Marion HENNING of Shawano; two sisters, Patricia Pickett of North Prairie, Wis., Marjorie HENNING of Shawano; and his brother, Richard HENNING of Shawano.
FUNERAL SERVICES AND BURIAL:
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Shawano, with Bishop Lee Gueller officiating. Burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery, Town of Seneca. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, at Swedberg Funeral Home, Shawano, and after 10 a.m. on Friday at the church until the time of the service. Military rites will be conducted at the church by the Shawano American Legion and VFW Posts.
