OBITUARY EXTRACTION:
NAME & ADDRESS:
Duane "Jingles" Hohn, age 60, Church Street, Bonduel, died Thursday, April 11,2002, at home.
BIRTH & PARENTS:
He was born Oct. 23, 1941, in the Town of Herman to the late Harold and Meta (Krueger) Hohn.
EARLY YEARS & MARRIAGE:
Duane grew up in the Gresham area and graduated from Gresham High School. He served in the Army National Guard from October of 1959 until June of 1963. He married Judy Hylander Oct. 7,1961, at St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano. The couple lived the past 33 years in Bonduel.
INTERESTS - EMPLOYMENT:
Jingles was a welder at Pierce Mfg. in Appleton for 42 years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and 'God's Country' up north at the cabin, also NASCAR. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel.
SURVIVORS:
Survivors include: his wife, Judy; two daughters, Chris (Dan) Frappy of Bonduel, Cheryl Brown of Cecil; four grandchildren, Joshua and Joey Frappy of Bonduel, Amber and Jeremy Brown of Cecil; four brothers and one sister, Roger (LaVonne) Hohn of Kaukauna, Joyce (Charles) List of Appleton, James (Germaine) Hohn of Leopolis, Floyd (LaVonne) Hohn of Green Bay, Harlan (Bonnie) Hohn of Appleton; mother-in-law, Mina Miller of Bonduel; many nieces and nephews.
PRECEDED BY:
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Meta Hohn.
FUNERAL SERVICES AND BURIAL:
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 16, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with Pastor Leonard Wildauer officiating. Burial will be in Elias Lutheran Church Cemetery in Gresham. Friends may call at Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel on Monday, April 15, from 4 until 8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
