OBITUARY EXTRACTION:

NAME & ADDRESS:
Lucille M. 'Cille' Miller, age 83, of W13519 River Road, Bowler, died Monday, April 22, 2002, in Antigo.

BIRTH & PARENTS:
She was born June 10,1918, in the Town of Red Springs, the daughter of the late Orrin and Lucy (Chicks) Bowman.

EARLY YEARS & MARRIAGE:
She was married on May 21,1936, in the Town of Red Springs to Corlyss G. Miller. He preceded her in death on Dec. 15,1975.

INTERESTS - EMPLOYMENT:
She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Wilderness in Bowler and the Ladies Aid. She served on the tribal enrollment committee, the Town of Bartelme and tribal election boards and she helped establish the Elderly Meals on Wheels program. She had been employed at the shipyards in Sturgeon Bay and' worked with the Green Thumb program. She was a greeter and legend teller at the Stockbridge-Munsee Museum. She enjoyed cooking and was well-known for her breadmaking.

SURVIVORS:
Survivors include: one daughter, Averil 'Jayne' Pecore of Bowler; sons, Douglas 'Grumby' (Chenda), Leland (Sue), Greg (Linda), Donnie (Chris), 'Bud' (Carmen), and Dale, all of Bowler; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

PRECEDED BY:
She was preceded in death by two sons, four brothers and three sisters.

FUNERAL SERVICES AND BURIAL:
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 26, at 11 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Wilderness in Bowler with the Rev. Stephen Shriner officiating. Burial will be in the Stockbridge Indian Burial Ground. Friends may call at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham on Thursday, April 25, from 4 until 8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. on Friday at the church until the time of the services.
