OBITUARY EXTRACTION:

NAME & ADDRESS:
Charles W. “Bill” Nietzer Sr., age 55, of Gresham, died on Friday, April 5, 2002, in Shawano.

BIRTH & PARENTS:
He was born on Nov. 6, 1946 in Green Bay, to the late Theodore and Louise (Little) Nietzer.

EARLY YEARS & MARRIAGE:
On Aug. 14, 1965, he was united in marriage to Judy Cerveny in Gresham.

INTERESTS - EMPLOYMENT:
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gresham. Bill worked for Marion Auto Body Works for 34 years and was a volunteer fireman for Gresham Area Fire Department. He enjoyed wood-crafting, making firewood, gardening, plowing snow with his brother Randy, and running the wood cutter for the Village of Gresham. He also loved fishing and camping with his family. He will be sadly missed by Deyzha May and Sassie.

SURVIVORS:
He is survived by his wife, Judy; his children, Shelly (Breck) Pfister, Kathy (Gene) Krekelberg, Billy Joe (special friend Cherra Pecora) Nietzer, Shannon Nietzer, Charles Nietzer Jr; two grandchildren, Sheldon Rosenow, Makenzie Krekelberg; step-grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Kendl, Andy Pfister, Chelsea and Tom; his brothers, James (Juliette) Nietzer, Randy (Kim) Nietzer; his uncle, Wilford (Leila) Little; his aunt, Edith (Norman) Koeller; his mother-in-law Muriel Cerveny; his stepfather, Tony Zahringer; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

PRECEDED BY:
He was preceded in death by his son, James Wilber Nietzer.

FUNERAL SERVICES AND BURIAL:
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Gresham with Bishop Jeff Hoffman officiating. Burial will be in Roosevelt Cemetery, Town of Seneca. Friends may call at Swedenberg Funeral Home, Gresham from 4 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, and on Wednesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the services.
The family wishes to thank Joy and Tim for their wonderful care at Shawano Medical Center.
