Doxtator, Alphadine A. “Deanie’’

Alphadine A. “Deanie’’ Doxtator, 66, W13290 Camp 14 Road, Bowler, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 8, 2001, in Antigo. She was born on July 15, 1935, in Shawano County, the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Gardner) Doxtator. Deanie enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, tinkering with cars, loved kids and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of The Lutheran Church of the Wilderness.

Survivors include three sisters, Janice Doxtator, Green Bay; Mildred (Pete) Doxtator, Bowler; Debra Vega, Antigo; two sisters-in-law, Theresa Reed, Oneida; Edna Doxtator; very special great-nephew, Edward Putnam; great-great-nephew, Kody Peters; many, many other nieces and nephews.

Deanie was preceded in death by four sisters, Angeline, Joyce, Delores, Noretta, and two brothers, James and Delvin.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham with the Rev. Wally Reed officiating. Burial will be in the Stockbridge Indian Burial Grounds. Friends may call on Tuesday, Dec. 11, from 4 until 8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham. There will be a Prayer Service at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
