John C. Bowman, age 46 of W13525 National Guard Road, Bowler died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003 at his home.
He was born Oct. 23,1956 in Milwaukee to Evelyn (McGee) Bowman and the late Quinton Bowman Sr. He lived in the Bowler area most of his life and had worked for the Stockbridge Munsee Tribe and was an avid Packer fan.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn of Bowler; a daughter Anita Matson of Milwaukee; a granddaughter Aiyanah and eight brothers and sisters: Prena Wollenhaup of Gresham; Quinton "Manny" (Shirley) Bowman Jr. of Bowler; Frank Bowman of California; Harold "Whitey" (Debra) Bowman of Cecil; Evelyn Bowman of Milwaukee; Keith (Karla) Bowman of Shawano; Stephanie Bowman of Bowler; Bertha (James) Shepard of Bowler and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Quinton Bowman Sr.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003 at The Lutheran Church of the Wilderness with Rev Stephen Shriner officiating. Burial will be in the Stockbridge Indian Burial Grounds.
Friends and relatives may call at the Swedberg Funeral Home of Gresham from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22,2003 and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
