Age 86, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2008. Born April 29, 1922 in Cecil, WI, son of Fred and Emma (Blaese) Laedtke. Married to the late Norma D. Thompson for 62 years. Father of Donald, Waukesha; Joanne (Jim) Wilson, Appleton; Beverly (Jeff) Bansemar, Germantown, the late Thomas (Mary Ellen), Milwaukee; grandchildren, Ryan (Amy), Kristin (Sam), Greg (Jenny), Jamie (Ken), Resa (John), Matthew (Heather), Tim, Joseph; 14 great grandchildren. Al owned Laedtke Realty in Milwaukee, and served as President of the Board of Realtors. He was an active member of Kiwanis. Survived by Delores Thompson, Hales Corners; Catherine Wetter, Milwaukee; Delores Laedtke, Shawano. Preceded by daughter Diane, and many brothers, sisters and in laws.

Memorial service 11 a.m. Friday, July 25, 2008, FAITH LUTHERAN CHURCH, 601 E. Glendale Ave, Appleton. Visitation 10 a.m. until time of service. A memorial is being established for FAITH Lutheran Church and Brewster Village in Alfred's name.
