Priscilla M. Church, age 85, of N8638 Oak Street, Bowler, died on Wednesday, May 28, 2003 at Antigo.
She was born on June 3, 1917, in the Town of Herman, Shawano County, the daughter of the late Otto and Verlie (Charles) Beilke. Priscilla married George Elmer Church on July 12,1936 in Red Springs. He preceded her in death on February 5,1998. Priscilla enjoyed collecting cookie jars.
Priscilla is survived by: her children, Verlie (Ron) Wolters, Vernon "Bun" (Donna Jean) Church, Rodney "Butch" (Sharon) Church, Roland "Rick" (Annette) Church; 17 grandchildren, Steve, Gail, Jeff, Neil, Pam, Dennis Jr., Kathryn, Matt, Keri, David, Natani, Sarah, Joel, Cori, Andrea, Jennifer, Naomi; 12 greatgrandchildren, Max, Zoe, Patrick, Ashley, Kyle, Shaina, Melissa, Devon, Rhiannon "Dolly," Emerald, Max, Arianna; her good friends, Margaret LeSperance, Eunice Stick and Ethel Shauske, who always made sure she was on the go and fed. Priscilla was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, George Elmer; two daughters, Verona "Ona" Faber and Verna "Puggy" Church; three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Stockbridge Bible Church with Rev. W Edward Zook and Rev. Stephen Shriner officiating. Burial will be held in Stockbridge Indian Burial Grounds. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham and after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church until the time of the service.
