Richard J. “Rich” Reinke, age 79 of Pulaski, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008. Born on July 19, 1928 in the Town of Angelica, he was the son of the late Albert J. and Hertha (Wudtke) Reinke. On September 9, 1950 he was united in marriage to Maxine Radun at the St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in the Town of Almond. Rich lived his entire life in the Town of Angelica and in 1949 he went to work for Heck & Dussling Company doing heating and plumbing work, and fixing just about everything. In 1993 he retired from the Heck Company after working there for more than forty years. Rich was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Zachow. He enjoyed working and helping people, which will be missed by everyone.
Rich is survived by: his wife of 57 years, Maxine; 5 brothers and sisters, Albert (Dolly) Reinke, Jr. of Pulaski and their son, Jeff, Ervin (Gena) Reinke of Pulaski and their sons, Dan and David, Helen Bluma of Appleton and her sons, Kenny, Randy, and Greg (Kathy), Florence Rueckert of Bonduel and her children, Debbie (special friend, Ron) Stoltenow, Patrick (Lynn), Michael (Jeanne), Connie (Jim) Hiltunen, Teri (Mark) Karcz, and Tina (Jim) Kane, and Harvey (Judy) Reinke of Pulaski and their children, Ann (Scott) Powers, Peter (Cindy), and Jill (Josh) Holewinski; sister-in-law, Betty Jane Sullivan of Florida; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sandra and Alvin Lautenschlager of Florida; and many great nieces and great nephews.
Rich was preceded in death by: his parents; 1 brother in infancy, Maynard; 3 nieces, Sandra, Susie, Carol; brothers-in-law, Wallin Rueckert, Joe Bluma, Steven Sullivan; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Eleanor and Russell Sullivan.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Zachow with the Rev. Philip Geiger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday after 9:00am until the time of the service. Swedberg-Wendt Funeral Home in Bonduel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
