Meta M. Marquardt
Meta M. Marquardt, 82, died at her home at 501 Third Street in Shawano Friday morning. She was born July 7, 1897, at Tigerton, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wetzel.

On November 14, 1928, she was united to marriage at Tilleda to William E. Marquardt. He died on February 1, 1961.

They farmed on the Marquardt home farm in the Township of Herman and she moved to Shawano six years ago.

She was a member of Elias Lutheran Church of Rt. 1, Gresham.

Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn of Shawano, & Violet, Mrs. Thomas Bohr, of Beloit. Also surviving are three grandchildren & a sister, Erma Meyers. of Clintonville. Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Elias Lutheran Church at Rt. 1, Gresham, with the Rev. Stephan Kersten officiating.

Friends may call at the Born Funeral Home in Shawano from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and after 12 noon on Monday at the church until the time of services.
