KROENING SERVICES TO BE CONDUCTED SAT. 3 PM

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. for Herman Kroening, 80, who died Thursday at the Manawa Convalescent Home at Manawa, Burial will be in Elias cemetery, town of Herman.

Mr. Kroening was born January 17, 1879 in the town of Seneca. He spent his early life in the town of Seneca and later farmed in the town of Herman. After his marriage to Emma Post at Tilleda, October, 1908, he lived at Wausau for 2 1/2 years. He then moved to a farm in the town of Herman. His later years have been spent with relatives. Mrs. Kroening died in 1927.

Survivors are his children, Edna, Mrs. Traugott Hermann, Kohler and Lloyd Kroening, Rockford, Illinois, and a stepson Henry Voelz, Sobiske. He also leaves 10 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Also 7 step grand-children, and one sister, Mrs. Anton Heins, Shawano.
