Looking for information on Caroline Hermina Sell Risum, wife of Hans Ludvig or Ludvig Hans Risum. The couple lived in Spring Valley Township, Rock County, Wisconsin from about 1856-1880?

Hans was a newspaper printer/publisher. Caroline died date unknown, sometime before 1880. Would like to learn her date of death and burial place. Hans re-married and moved to Iowa in 1880.

I have found on-line biographical info about Hans Risum, but it doesn't say much about first wife Caroline or second wife either. Second wife's name isn't even given.

Would appreciate any info on Caroline in particular.

I did make an error in my query title. Caroline Sell Risum was born in 1814 and married in 1833. I looked at that wrong.

I now have lots of new info and leads to study.

  In researching my family tree the information I have is that my great great grandmother,Caroline Hermina Sell Risum was born in Norway,Christiana,Feb. 25,1814 and died Oct l6,1869 and is probably buried at the Luther Valley church cemetery.  I also have indications from family writings that she had a maiden sister,Agatha,living in Rock Co in the 1880s,but it is not known if she died in the area or returned to Norway.

Yes, your Caroline is indeed the same person I am researching. I have the same birth info, but didn't have a death date.

I have only recently began working on this branch, but have found some good on-line info about Caroline's husband Hans Risum, who was an editor in Wisconsin and twice married.
