Esther Minna [BOYER] VIAU was born in Clinton or Franklin Co. NY ca. 1841, the daughter of Israel & Adeline [PETEL] BOYER. She married Angenor VIAU in Malone NY ca. 1870, and they moved to Menominee MI / Marinette WI in about 1882. They had 13 or 14 children.

At some time after her husband died in 1903, Esther must have moved to Beloit, Rock Co. WI. She died there on 21 Feb 1935, and her daughter Florence's family bible noted she is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Beloit.
