Rev. Andrew Porter, pastor of the First M.E. church, conducted the funeral services of the late Emery Veley, which were held from the house near the School for the Blind yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock and at the First M.E. church at 2 p.m. At the close of services the remains were taken to Oakhill cemetery and laid to rest.
