I need to find David Grant in the 1930 Census. Since I cannot find him in the Ancestry or Genealogy index, I need to search for him page by page. He was living at 526-8th St., Beloit, Wi.
Might someone be able to tell me which district I should search in Rock County? Thank you for your time and expertise.

You would look in District of Rock county under the City of Beloit. I do not recall if Beloit has different Wards.

I know this is an old thread, but I'm the grandson of edna grant and the greatgrandson of David Grant. Edna married Leonard Tigwell. They had Joyce Carol Lois and Grant. The original home is now belongs to the rockford historical society.

FYI I found this site running a google search hope someone still wants the info..I probably won't be here again but if someone wants more info feel free to email me. fltsfshr@comcast.net

Thank you so very much for your time and effort in searching for my David Grant. My great grandfather, David, lived in Capron until at least 1920. He had two children, James and Isabella. My great grandmother, Hannah, died in 1913. David remarried sometime after 1920 (for which I am earnestly searching for that marriage info. In 1930, David and Margaret (?) Grant were living in Beloit. To my best knowledge, they had no children. However, anything is possible.
Mostly, I want to thank you for your time to help me. You are most kind. Warmest regards, Toni
