Hi Kathe; Oh thank you so very much for your effort at trying to help me, but I'm afraid that isn't the George and Lillian Lemon that I am looking for. For I am came across that same family too.

The Lillian I'm looking for was born Lillian Lee Diamond, 1886 in Galesville, Wisconsin moved to S. Dak. at a young age. She married Ernest Franklin 1903 in Dexter Twp. S. Dak., there were 6 children Doris, Orvis H., Roy Stanley, Jennie and Gladys. They divorced in July 1914, Ernest got custody of all the children but Gladys. He later put each of the children up for adoption. Lillian remarried George Lemon on Oct. 2, 1915 in Watertown, S. Dak.

Gladys died on Sept 19, 1918 in Racine and is buried in the Graceland cemetery at Racine. On her death certificate it shows her father as George being born in Iowa and mother known as Lillian born in Wisconsin and their address of 1327 Villa St. Racine. Lillian later married a Murphy, so we were told. When she died herself she was a Hermanson. Not really sure of what now. I thank you for your help. Take care!

Thanks!
Judy
