I believe I am related to your Ella Lau, although fairly distantly.
I have been searching for this Racine family for a long time so was thrilled to make this connection with your posting today. My Great-grandmother was Rose Lau. Her brother was Ferdinand Lau and Ella was his daughter. Only information I have so far is what I found in the 1900 New York Census (prior to them living in Racine, they lived in the Bronx. My ggrandmother came to the U.S. in 1888 and Ferdinand arrived in 1890). I would be happy to share any information I have regarding Ella's family and I hope maybe you have found something further since your posting that you may be able to share with me!
