Joseph Bialecki (pick a spelling above), b. ca 1826 and his wife, Margaret Kaiser (Czyig), b. ca 1827, both in Poland, were living in the city of Racine for the Federal Census in 1880. There name was recorded as Billaska. They had three children still living with them at the time, John, b. 1864, Frances (Fanny), b. 1868 and Lely, b. around 1872.
Lely is the mystery child, possibly a foster child or neice. She later married John Dombrowski/Dombroski and lived in MO.
Frances married Charles Persch and lived outside of Monett, MO until her death in 1959.
Both sisters were alive in MO, in 1929, as referenced in an older sister's obituary. Their mother, Margaret, moved to MO, dying in 1912 and eventually sharing a cemetery stone with her daughter, Frances.
I am looking for the father Joseph's place and date of death. Also, son John was reported to have died young, after 1882, without marrying. I believe they both may be buried somewhere in Racine.
I don't know why the family moved to Racine in the 1870's from Berlin, WI. Have assumed there was family there.
The spelling is open to many variations. Thanks for any and all leads.
