There is a large amount of information on the Fox family and their relationship with the Benjamin Cole line that settled in Dodge County Wisconsin in Briggs "A Genealogy of the Coles and Allied Families." If you haven't checked out this source I know there is a copy of it at the Dodge County Historical Society in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. I am looking for information on the Benjamin Cole side of the family (Benjamin, Horace, Nelson, Horace, Guy, Terry Cole in succession), in case you might have some leads.
