I am wondering if you know what happened to Louise, the daughter of Carl, who was born about 1851. I think she might have married John W. Hansbrough in Colorado in June 1871. I can locate two of her brothers there in the 1870 census: Philip (presumably John Phillip, and Fritz, (presumably Hermann).
I have only one record that gives the surname of Hansbrough's wife--and she is named as Louisa Raver.
Census records consistently show that she was born in Wisconsin and that both her parents were from Germany.
Frankly, Louise Roeber is the only person in the 1860 census who seems likely to be her.
Various records show that Louisa Hansbrough was born Oct 1851 in Wisconsin, married Hansbrough in June 1871 in Jefferson Co., Colorado, and died in San Francisco 3 March 1925.
