While working in China I am doing a bit of family genealogy. In checking through my records for the McDonald line I find an obituary for Christina Ahern Mcdonald which indicates family members came to town prior to her birth.

(1) Are there any references in the newspaper identifying these family members?

(2)Her husband Peter Mcdonald died on 3 Apr 1907 and his obituary lists four living children (Ruby, Wilbert, Clarence, Clinton) and identifies three having predeceased him (no names given) - one of whom predeceased Christina.

The 1900 Federal census states that she had 6 children and 6 where living. Are there any records of the "deceased children" -- beyond Flora (d 18 Oct 1903) and Veronica (unknown death date)and possibly a child born between 1900 and the death of Christina in 1902?

DEATH OF Mrs. P. M'DONALD

She was thirty-five years old and is survived by her husband and six children.
Her father, Mr. Ahearn, of Virginia, Minn., and a number of her relatives from outside were at her bedside during the last days of her illness. The funeral will occur Saturday morning from the church of Our Lady of Lourdes.
