MRS. WM. HAYES
Mrs. Wm. Hayes, 62, Marshfield, died at 1:15 p.m. Friday at St. Josephs hospital in Marshfield, where she had been admitted earlier in the day. She had been ill for several weeks and had made her home in Marshfield with her mother, Mrs. Alice Hughes since last September.
Funeral services were conducted at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Josephs Catholic church, with the Rt. Rev. Msgr, A. N. Schuh officiating. Burial took place in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Hayes, the former Theresa Hughes, was born Nov. 7, 1892, in Escanaba, Mich., and was married to Wm. Hayes Oct. 21, 1913. At the age of two years she moved to the town of Eau Pleine with her parents and after her marriage in 1913 they moved to the town of Cleveland.
She is survived by her mother; four sons, Charles of Stratford; Robert of Milwaukee; John of Wisconsin Rapids and James of Marshfield; three daughters, Mrs. Aloys (Verona) Aschbrenner of Schofield; Mrs. Patrick (Eileen) Soderburg of Thorp and Mrs. Robert (Betty) Gebert, of Wisconsin Rapids; five brothers, Charles, Glenn and Orville of Marshfield; Ray of Milladore and Ervin of the town of Eau Pleine; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Maguire of Halder and Mrs. Clyde Fuller of Rudolph. Her husband died in January, 1948.
