WILLIAM R. BROCKWELL
William R. Brockwell, age 52, Mauston, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 24, 1999 at his home.
He was born on May 11, 1947 in Brinkley, Ark., the son of John and Lillian (Davis) Brockwell. He married Elizabeth Cudahy on Dec. 30, 1964 in McHenry, Ill.
Bill worked at U. S. Gypsum in Walworth before moving to Mauston. He was currently working in Mauston at Vacuum Platers Co. Bill enjoyed working on any type of building projects in his spare time.
He is survived by his wife Betty of Mauston; son Bill (Peggy) of Necedah, WI; daughter Tara (Don) Fort of Delavan; five grandchildren, Jessica and Jacob Fort and Jennifer, William and Timothy Brockwell; six brothers, Benny Tidwell of Oklahoma City, O. K., Harrell Tidwell of Darien, Jerry Brockwell of Delavan, Lonnie Brockwell of darien, Wayne Brockwell of Darien, and Paul Brockwell of Delavan; two sisters, Paulette Brockwell of Walworth and Cindy Lee of Sharon. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jim Tidwell.
Funeral services were Friday, Aug. 27, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Toynton's Walworth Funeral Home. Burial was at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Delavan township.
Visitation was Thursday at Toynton's Walworth Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes memorials in Bill's name be made to the American Cancer Society.
