I didn't find a birth/christening record for Emilie; will have to see if I can locate her in Wisconsin. Besides William and Herman, Carl is also missing; perhaps the three of them came together earlier. Everyone else matches up. You'll find Elise and Carl in 1870 living with the John Barnett family (indexed as "Barnell"), also in Hubbard. Elise married August Berndt, who was living with the Bloedorn family in 1870.
