I am pretty sure these are my 2x great-grandparents (need to work to confirm, though). My great-great grandparents immigrated from England and settled in Dodgeville sometime between 1852 and 1858. The family lived there for a period of thirty to forty years before moving to Michigan. Two of the couple's sons (William Henry Souden and Alexander John Souden) served in Wisconsin regiments during the Civil War. Alexander moved to Missouri sometime after the war.
