Thank you for your reply. I have already wrote the Mineral Point Room and physically been there. I didn't see anything mentioned, as to where my ggg grandparents were buried. Records I browsed through seemed incomplete though.
I recently emailed the Mineral Point Room, and asked if there was anything on my Jeffery's and they sent what little there was in abt 10 obits of Jeffery/Jeffrey people. Some of the people, I did not recognize as my relatives, But perhaps they may be related going further back in England. So I saved them. There were at least 4 that I knew were mine, that I know of, which I was grateful to find.
I know my gg grandparent's William Jeffery & Kate Trevarrow are buried in Graceland. I was in particularly looking for his parent's, Johanna(which mentioned a short death notice...no burial) and her husband Edward b abt 1810.
I am mainly looking for very old or early burials.I assumed there wasn't anything more at the Mineral Point Room as they didn't say any Jeffery's were buried there. I would have thought if she had that as a reference, she would have looked. In the death notice of Johanna, it didn't mentioned her name(but I think it was her.) The obit said "Mrs Edward Jeffery". No where does it mentioned where these two are buried though in the obits. I didn't see them indexed at Graceland, so I thought old Mineral Point Cemetery might be the correct place of internment. Yet they had to be buried somewhere in Mineral Point. I know they both died there.
I had heard a lot of stones were unreadable, and broken in the old Cemetery.. I was wondering when the first readings were recorded etc.
I was mainly looking for an online index. Apparently there isn't an online record.
Thank you anyway for your help.
