Not sure if you'll get this but I will post anyway. Looks like you posted quite a few years ago. George Kamrath was my grampas dad. Orwin G Rhode was my grampas name. Yes they did live over by Dalton in Scott Township. I don't know that much about them other than they are related to me as well. Yes I believe George married Sylvia Riddle.

Have recently been in touch with Marvin Kelm from prior post. We are related through Andreas Kelm and Anna Justina Arndt. Their son, my great great grandfather Friedrich August Kelm came here abt 1862 and Marvin's grandfather Adolph Gustav Kelm came here in 1880. Adolph was Friedrich's nephew. Friedrich went to MN while Adolph went to WI. They were never in touch.
Also, Anna Justine Kelm Stibbe immigrated in 1886 to Richland County, WI. Also never in touch with other 2 Kelms. She was Friedrich's sister and Adolph's aunt.

Hi, I am not related. Hope this helps. Rp.
I would think that there is a birth record for Robert in Green Lake County. In the 1920 census, Helen & her parents & siblings lived in Berlin, Green Lake County. There was a Wright family that lived there too in 1920.

Helen & Anton Baade were married in 1925 at St. Michael's church in Berlin. Have you tried to find a baptismal record for Robert in one of the Berlin churches? St. Michael's may be a good beginning.

Is there mention of the Freiheit family in your book? They immigrated in 1866 from W. Prussia to Green Lake Co. Soon after they migrated west to MN, with the exception of John Gottlieb & Wilhelmina (Schultz) Freiheit and their large family, who stayed in Marquette, Princeton & Markesan areas.
Thank you
Judith

Janes?

I'm related through Henry's great great grandfather Zachariah Long who married Susannah Borden. Henry's great grandfather Edmond Long (married Margaret Sherman) and my ancestor William Long (married Abigail Smith) were brothers.
Edmond Long and Margaret Sherman's son Elisha Borden Long married Harriet Cook.
Hello, this doesn't seem to be the Thomas Hamilton you are looking for. RP
------------
Stevens Point Daily Journal | Stevens Point, Wisconsin | Wednesday, October 21, 1903 | Page 1

Suicide at Westfield.

Thomas Hamilton of Westfield, a young man 23 years of age, a brother of Miss Nellie Hamilton, who formerly attended the Normal, shot himself through the head Tuesday morning, producing instant death. Hie had been in ill health for some time and his people wanted him to go to a hospital for treatment. He got a notion that they intended to take him to an asylum, and when his uncle came to
take him away he ran upstairs and shot himself.

Laura, I would love your help. I'm looking for some birth certificates on my aunt and her mother.....
Aunt is Olive Mae Kienitz born in 1920 and died in either 1925 (family information) or 1928 (headstone in St. John Baptist Cemetery) Mother Helen (below) and father Otto Kienitz. She isn't listed on any census as she must have been born after the 1920 one took place in that area, and obviously died before the next one.
Grandmother - Helen Cecelia Kienitz (nee Helen Drill or Helena Dryll) born 10/30/1897 in Princeton.
Don't when the family Anglasized Dryll or Drill). Never heard of my grandmother being called Helena or using Dryll. But her and one of her sisters are found under Dryll while all other family members are Drill.
No hurry, but any information you can find would be very welcome as our state is one of those that apparently doesn't share data with Ancestory.
Anne Kienitz (akienitz@charter.net)

Jean,
hoping you still do lookups.
I have a Johann Gottfried Lau and Karl Ludwig Lau marrying Warnke sisters on 25 March 1858 in Crystal Lake, Marquette Co. I also know my ancestor Christian Friedrich Julius Lau (their brother) married Anna Wilhelmina Tetzloff on 14 Nov 1859 in Westfield, Marquette. Curious about two things - is there a more specific mention of birthplace for Anna (besides Prussia) or any other info about her? The Lau brothers had a sister Sophia A. Lau that married a Julius C. Platt/Plath...but I don't kwow if they married in Wisconsin (ie. listed in book) or in Prussia.
Pete Hanson

Has anyone found a county history with a write-up on one of the sons of Fuller Eaton? The write-up might mention Fuller's parents.....that would be your proof that Benjamin was the father of Fuller. Sons were: William R, Van Rensselaer, George, Lyman B, Benjamin D, & Fuller H
Contact me at lwthroop@aol.com Thanks!!

I know this is an old posting, but perhaps you are still active. My interest is the Kurkowski family -- Frank and his wife Anna (Barakowska (I think)) who came to Berlin in 1868 and his children. I'm particularly interested in Peter, b. 1877 who disappears from the records before 1905, Mary b. 1878 who also disappears, and twin sisters, Josie and Frances, who both stayed in Berlin through the 1940s. Also I'm trying to tie Frank with other Kurkowskis who came to Berlin a bit later , Joseph in 1880 and then moved to Stockton.

I had hoped to do this research myself while visiting my son in Madison, but he just moved to Seattle, so this trip will likely never happen.
