Heart Attack Fatal To Green Lake Man
Green Lake-Elmer Ludwig Kobernik, 61, died Monday of a heart attack at the Berlin Chapman Company, where he was employed as a pattern maker.
He was born Jan 02, 1894, at Green Lake, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kobernik. He married Elsie Rueckevt at Green Lake on May 04, 1921.
Prior to going with the Berlin Chapman Company he had been a carpenter for 23 years.
He was a veteran of World War 1, a member of the Green Lake American Legion Post and the fire department of the village.
Surviving are his wife, on daughter, Mrs. Frank Kannenberg, Green Lake; two grandsons and a brother. Herman Kobernik, Green Lake: seven sisters, Mrs. Herman Griese; Mrs. August Hilke, Mrs. Fred Zenzine, Mrs. Ernest Timm and Mrs. Paul Miller, all of Ripon; Mrs. Adolph Hilke, Rush Lake, and Mrs. Herman Deibert, Green Lake.
Funeral services well be held at Peace Lutheran Church. Green Lake, at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. C. E. Krug officiating Burial will be in Dartford Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Butzin Funeral Home. Ripon, from noon Wednesday until 11 a.m. Thursday and thereafter at the church. Lewis Egbert. Green Lake funeral director, will be in charge.
