One of my great-great-great aunts, Anna Gilgenbach, married a Nikolaus Keifenheim in Retterath, Germany in 1845 and had five kids before emigrating to the Fond du Lac area of Wisconsin in 1866, along with many other of my Gilgenbach relatives. I know that one of their kids, Matthias, married a woman named Rosa, and they had six kids of their own, including two boys, Joseph and Edward, but have had no luck tracing this family further.
