Looking for any info concerning Asa Jeffrey. Asa died February 26, 1885, Florence County, in the town of Commonwealth.

Have some information regarding an Asa JEFFREY married to Elizabeth (Elezebath) - various census records I have found, etc. Most willing to share anything I have found to date if you would care to contact me privately.

To make long story short - I think we may possibly be relatives - will send full details to your private e-mail, but my 2nd great-grandaunt was Adeline Elizabeth WILLIAMS, and she married a man named JEFFREY.

She was born in Massachusetts, moved with her family to New York State, and then they all came to Canada about 1838. The daughters all subsequently moved back to the U.S., but the son and father remained in Canada.

As sexton of the Commonwealth Cemetery, Asa Jeffrey is buried in the cemetery in the Township of Commonwealth, Florence Co. Wisconsin. Two lots purchased on March 1, 1885, but record only one burial.
