Helen A. McCutcheon
July 17, 1910 - June 24, 2008

Florence, Wisconsin

Helen A. McCutcheon, 97, of Grand Blanc, Mich., formerly of Florence, Wis., passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Genesys Convalescent Center in Grand Blanc.

She was born July 17, 1910, in Florence, daughter of Theodore and Agnes (Crane) Lewis. Helen married Arnold McCutcheon on July 11, 1934. He preceded her in death.

Helen and Arnold lived in Long Lake, Wis. for 8 years before returning to Florence, where Helen lived until 2001, when she moved to Grand Blanc. Helen was a good wife, mom and friend, and an active member in First Presbyterian Church in Florence. She will be missed by those who loved her.

She is survived by a son, Malcolm (Ruth) McCutcheon; a daughter, Bonnie (Jim) Graham, Grand Blanc; four grandsons, Burr (Claire), Rod (Laura) McCutcheon, Bryan and Brett (Kamarae) DeGayner; five step-grandchildren, Lisa (Brian) Kreider, Stacey and Michael (Denise) Graham, Kirsten (Seth Boffeli) Setterlund, Ben (fiance, Leslie) Sutterlund, eight great-grand children; and four step great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents and husband, Arnold, Helen was preceded in death by nine siblings.

Funeral Information

Visitation will be Sunday, July 13, 2008, from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Florence. A memorial service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Pastor Doug Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Florence.
