I am seeking information on and/or contact with the descendants of Elias Foster and Emmaline(Frank)Foster.
Emmaline Frank's half brother Francis W. Brate came to California in 1850 and died here in 1871. His estate was probated in Butte county California, the will was written in Eu Claire Co. Wis. and witnessed by A.G. Bostwick, Geo. F. Haswell and H.W. Barnes. It appears Elias Foster traveled to CA. to settle the estate, based on documents I have from the recorder's office. I am hoping to find more information on him and his family and their connection with my own ancestors (Moak) from the Albany County NY area. Any assistance would be appreciated and I would be happy to share information on Mr. Brate's activities in California if anyone is interested
