Suzanne:I am delighted at such a quick response. Wilhelm Annen was my gr-gr grandfather. I have the Trier area church records birth, death, marriages and have info on the Annens. I decided to see what i could find on his wife Margaretha. Well, her name has been spelled everyway possible I guess. Where they made application to come to America its Konz. One of the record keepers in the church spelled it Conz some. In a copy of the Annen memories I have they spelled it Koons. The Annen memories say she had a brother here named John. But I have microfilm with citizens from Trier area who came to America and I cannot find him coming. I worked on this yest at the family hist center and its beginning to look him he may have been her nephew. So, think I am on to something. I found some birth records etc and feel pretty comfortable her parents were Michaelis Kunz and Margarethae Fell. I am trying to piece together her brothers and sisters. I cannot remember any of the ones I have run into being named Peter yet. But with what I figured out yest. John had a sister named Margaretha. I finally found John on the 1870 Dane Cty census married. Margaretha must have married as she was not living with her mother and stepfather. So, I wonder if she is the one married Peter Meinholz. I will have to try to check that out. May be good clue. Now, on Lucia-- I remember seeing the names Joannes Fell and Eliazbeth Leinweber on that tape I was looking at yest, I feel sure since the Leinweber is kinda unusual, but I did not write any info down on them as I did not tie them into the ones I was looking for yet. But was looking mostly for the Kunz connection than the Fell at that point, but let me tell you there were a lot of Fells in that area. I dont guess you know if this Peter Kunze came from that area do you?? As I say I have microfilm from that area I would be glad to help if I can. Its in German, of course, so I just look for names. Let me know what you think.
