I live in Minnesota and am unable to get to WI anytime soon to do a lookup on some information I found. I would greatly appreciate it if anyone in the area finds themselves able to check a few things for me when they're at a library. I am currently researching the MAIR family (other surnames: Jamieson, Caldow).

The items I found (which I hope bring me some answers) are from the "Portage WI Newspapers Obituary Index 1850-1907".

-Mair, Agnes reel 19A
-Mair, Anna reel 19A
-Mair Charles, Mrs. reel 30
-Mair, Lavina reel 4
-Mair, Thomas reel 35

Copies would be wonderful (I will pay copy fees/postage), but at this point just the information listed in these obits are a huge help.

Please contact me if you have any info or are willing to help! Thank you in advance!

Christina Pettit
Christina.Pettit@comcast.net

Edward was born in Germany in 1860 and Mary in 1856, possibly in England.

Anna may have been working in a rooming house in Milwaukee in 1905.

Would espeically like to hear from their decendants but all help greatly appreicated.
