Gordon A. Johnson, 78, of Lodi, died on Saturday, Dec. 8, 1979, at Sauk Prairie Hospital.


Born on May 8, 1901 in the Town of DeKorra, he was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Lodi. Mr. Johnson was a retired City of Lodi employee and a horse lover.

Survivors are his wife, the former Irma Licht; two sisters, Nettie Palmer and Myrtle Hartzell; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Mathilda Tarr and Clara Thompson, and two brothers, Samuel and Lawrence Johnson.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the First Lutheran Church in Lodi. Rev. W. R. Huseby officiated. Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
