For most of my life Stanley has been a focal point of my family history. I visited my great grandmother, Lillian Olson, there until she passed at the age of 102. Before that, I visited the Shortell family farm in Thorpe. I am related to Olson, Shotell, Seefeldt, Konsella, and many other local families.

I would love to hear stories about Stanley, my great grandmother, or extended family if anyone will share.

1. Frank Oscar Olson was born on May 10, 1892 in Seymore, Wisconsin. He graduated about 1909 in WI. He was baptized on May 10, 1916 in WI. Frank appeared in the census on Jan. 7, 1920 in Smeltzer Township, Grant Co, WI. He appeared in the census on Apr. 9, 1930 in Bloomington, Grant Co, WI. He died on Aug. 17, 1959 at the age of 67 in St Paul, Ramsey Co, MN. Frank was buried after Aug. 17, 1959 in St Paul, Ramsey Co, MN.

Lillian Marie (Shortell) Olson, daughter of Patrick Shortell and Anna Laura (Toomey) Shortell, was born on Jul. 15, 1897 in Kimball, Brule Co, Dakota Territory. She was baptized on Jul. 25, 1897 in near Kimball, South Dakota. She died on Apr. 18, 1999 at the age of 101 in Stanley, Chippewa Co, WI. Lillian was buried after Apr. 18, 1999. Frank Oscar Olson and Lillian Marie (Shortell) Olson were married on Oct. 11, 1916 in WI. Frank Oscar Olson and Lillian Marie (Shortell) Olson had the following children:

11. Anna Fern (Olson) Trierweiler was born on Apr. 20, 1917 in Cuba City, Grant Co, WI. She was baptized on May 6, 1917 in Cuba City, Grant Co, WI. She graduated on Jun. 10, 1930 in Withee, Clark Co, WI. Anna lived in St Paul, Ramsey Co, MN about 1934.

Eloy Leander Trierweiler, son of Nicholas Peter Trierweiler and Anna Elizabeth (Knope) Trierweiler, was born on May 20, 1910 in Stevens Point, Portage Co, WI. He received first communion on May 27, 1923 in Stanley, Chippewa Co, WI. He was confirmed on Sep. 12, 1923 in Stanley, Chippewa Co, WI. Eloy died on Aug. 12, 1989 at the age of 79 in St Paul, Ramsey Co, MN. He was buried after Aug. 12, 1989 in Maplewood, Ramsey Co, MN. He lived at 1894 Minnehaha Ave E in St Paul, Ramsey Co, MN. Anna Fern (Olson) Trierweiler and Eloy Leander Trierweiler were married on Aug. 20, 1934 in St Paul, Ramsey Co, MN.

12. Glenn Francis 'Curly' Olson was born on Jul. 1, 1919 in WI. He died about Aug. 28, 2006 at the age of 87 in St Paul, Ramsey Co, MN.

Gertrude (Hane) Olson was born on Mar. 15, 1921. She died on May 17, 1995 at the age of 74 in St Paul, Ramsey Co, MN. She was buried after May 17, 1995. Glenn Francis 'Curly' Olson and Gertrude (Hane) Olson were married on Nov. 29, 1939.

13. Dale John Olson was born on Aug. 29, 1921 in Thorpe, Clark Co, WI.

Evelyn Violet (Johnson) Olson, daughter of Earl J Johnson and Carol G Johnson, was born on Nov. 20, 1923 in Black River Falls, Jackson Co, WI. Dale John Olson and Evelyn Violet (Johnson) Olson were married on Sep. 23, 1943 in Eau Claire, Eau Claire Co, WI.

14. Marjorie Lillian (Olson) Seefeldt was born on Aug. 20, 1923 in WI. She died on Sep. 25, 2010 at the age of 87 in Owen, WI.

Frederick Armond Seefeldt, son of Essel C Seefeldt and Alma A Seefeldt, was born on Apr. 23, 1920 in Stanley, Chippewa Co, WI. He retired about 1982 in WI. Marjorie Lillian (Olson) Seefeldt and Frederick Armond Seefeldt were married on Sep. 17, 1944 at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Stanley, Chippewa Co, WI.
