World War II Military death records
As I was "surfing" one day , I ran across a site that listed those from Bayfield county (Cable) that were killed in the war. Two of my uncles had died 2 weeks apart in Europe.
Their names are ADOLPH & ERNEST WITTWER. I found 1 name, but not the other. After talking to my mother, I was told that ADOLPH had enlisted under another name, John Adams (long story!).
I was going to check again, but now I've been searching to find that site for the last 2 years!
If anyone knows of that site or how to find that info I'd really appreciate it!
