I have a family genealogy chart done many years ago that lists one of my ancestors as being a Samuel Martin who lived in Wheeling W.Va.( I gather it had to be Virginia at that time.) He married Charlotte Bevis widow of ---
Wallace in 1807. They had one Daughter Charlotte Caroline and I don't know where she was born but she married a Samuel
Whitaker Ware in Cincinnati, Oh. Does anyone have any Martins still in West Va. I know Samuel had three other children by a first marriage one of which was a son Samuel, a daughter Sarah and a daugter Mary.
