Solvay Collieries Co., Kingston No.5 mine, Fred Warden, injured & died 1922Mar6, nationality American, 10 years mining experience, age 23, occupation motorman, married with 3 children, 4 dependents total, killed by fall of slate, no inquest held, inside of mine accident
Slate is dark shale lying next to the coal beds. It contains impressions of the plant life of distant ages, proving the vegetable origin of coal
