A 20-year employe of the True Temper Corp. died yesterday at
Martins Branch. Edward Franklin (Ed) Lanham, 57, died at his home
after an extended illness. He was a member of the Kelly's Creek Church of God Mission. Surviving are his wife, Claudie; seven daughters, Rachel of Wilksville, 0., Rose of Dunbar, Mrs. Muriel Wheeler of Nitro, Mrs. Annabelle Parsons, of Tyler Mt, Mrs. Thelma McCIanahan of Martin's Branch and Doris Mae and Loretta Jane both »t home; three sons, Lad of Kelly's Creek, William of Nitro and Samuel Lee with the Navy at Bainbridge, Md.; five sisters, Mrs. Nettie Tucker of Nitro, Mrs. Betty Adamson of Bannock, O., Mrs. Bernice Withrow of Glasgow, Mrs. Alma Kelly of Rocky Fork, and Mrs. Florence
Maddox of Kiiigston, Wash.; a brother George of Charleston Rt.
4; 23 grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. The body is at Cunningham Funeral Home and was to be removed to the residence today at 2 p.m.
