Looking for information on my great-great grand father Henry Gusler. He was born around 1827 (I'm pretty sure) in Mercer Co. (then Virginia). His father was John Gusler from Pennsylvania, married to Elizabeth Roberts of Virgina. He married (date unkown) Nannah Runyon (born in Wise Co. Nov. 4 1831), fathered 6 children, James WIlliam (1854), John Stephen (1856), Richard Jackson (1858), Mary Elizabeth (1860), Sarah Jane (1861), and Elihue T. (1862). He joined the Mercer Co. Volunteers in 1862 under the command of Capt James A. Pack (later 60th Va. Co. 2H). He was killed at the Battle of Cloyd's Mount (Cloyd's Farm ?) (Pulaski Co.) Virginia on 9 May 1864. I do not have much on him other than what I just wrote. I do not know if his body was returned home to Mercer Co. for proper burial. I am looking for anyone who may be able to shed any light on his birth date and if he is buried in Mercer Co.
