I am trying to locate a Civil War field hospital, most likely between Kingwood, Fairmont and Wheeling. My 3X great grandfather was a contract doctor during the Civil War and his 19-year-old daughter served as his nurse. He lived in Jollytown, Greene County, PA between 1845 and 1865, but I think the hospital may have been in West Virginia. Three of his sons enlisted in the 9th West Virginia regiment at Fairmont.
